Community Support Manager

This position is responsible for successfully directing and coordinating all activities associated with care management including the care of potential and existing clients. You will provide leadership and effective management of the Care Team, compliance and clinical governance, and overall client experience including the delivery of quality client care services.

Key Criteria:
  • Experience leading teams and supervising team members.
  • Experience with strategic planning, HR and recruitment.
  • Practical experience adopting the Aged Care Quality Standards and experience participating in Quality Audits.
  • Highly efficient and organised with proven time management skills.
  • Strong engagement, influencing and negotiating skills which can be applied in a relationship management and sales arena.
  • An effective communicator with excellent customer service skills and demonstrated problem solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Client Databases, running reports and analysing data.
  • Able to demonstrate your ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and outcome orientated, with the capacity to deal with multiple and at times conflicting priorities.

The Requirements:
  • Previous and relevant experience working with seniors or aged care.
  • CHSP experience highly desirable
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Suite with strong skills in Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Strong leadership and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License and be able to commit to travel
