- Lead innovative dementia programs in partnership with local organisations
- Support carers and clients through engaging, community-based activities
- Part-time role (3 d/wk) - ideal for RN, OT, Physio, or dementia program coord
Key Focus:
- Primary responsibility for developing and coordinating dementia programs for the local community.
- Aim is to introduce and engage community members through these programs
- Emphasis on providing normality, cognitive stimulation, and social engagement for people living with dementia, while also offering respite and support for their carers.
- Maintain and update a program calendar and ensure sessions, venues, and facilitators are booked.
- Stimulate short-term memory and cognitive function.
- Support carers by giving them time for themselves and peer support.
- $55 - $61ph + Super + Salary Packaging

- Rewarding role playing a key part in the care of Dementia clients in the community, as well as providing respite for their carers
- A background in Nursing (RN), Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or relevant clinical/health qualifications.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Dementia care would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in dementia care and community program development.
- Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally for program delivery.
