Salary: Up to $119,811 (pro rata) + Super & $18,550 Salary Packaging

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Dual Registered Midwife to join the Women & Newborn Services team at a leading hospital very close to Melbourne.
This role is ideal for an experienced midwife with strong Birth Suite experience and leadership capability who is passionate about delivering high-quality, woman-centred care. Working across Birth Suite, Postnatal and Special Care Nursery, you'll provide clinical leadership while supporting the day-to-day operational management of the department.
The Role
- Provide clinical leadership across Birth Suite, Postnatal and SCN
- Support the MUM with the daily operational management of the department.
- Coordinate staffing levels based on patient acuity, occupancy and service requirements.
- Mentor, support and develop staff while promoting a positive culture
- Participate in quality improvement, risk management and clinical governance activities.
- Build strong relationships with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
- Work across a rotating AM, PM and Night Duty roster.
- AHPRA registration
- 5+ years midwifery experience
- Dual registration Nurse/Midwife
- Birth Suite experience
- Demonstrated leadership or acting-in-charge experience.
- Experience across Postnatal and Special Care Nursery.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Midwifery or Leadership.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role.
- Salary packaging up to $18,550 annually.
