Join a well-established standalone aged care provider as a Care Manager at a 120+ bed residential aged care home located in Canberra.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aged care leader who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and leading high-performing clinical teams. Working within a supportive leadership structure, you'll oversee the clinical care of approximately 40 residents while providing leadership, guidance and support to Registered Nurses and care staff.

Role Overview:

• Permanent Full-Time Position | Monday to Friday
• 120+ bed residential aged care located in the ACT
• Manage the clinical care and operations for approximately 40+ residents
• Provide clinical leadership, management and support to Registered Nurses and care teams
• Lead resident assessments, care planning, case management and ongoing clinical reviews
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and wellbeing
• Drive compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC requirements and clinical governance frameworks
• Monitor clinical quality, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders to achieve positive resident outcomes
• Work alongside the Facility Manager, Senior Care Manager and fellow Care Managers to support the overall clinical operations of the home
• Mentor, develop and support clinical staff while fostering a positive and engaged team culture

About You:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous leadership experience within residential aged care
• Extensive experience delivering and supervising clinical care in an aged care environment
• Strong understanding of AN-ACC funding requirements
• Excellent knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop clinical teams
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
