The Opportunity
As Care Manager, you'll oversee the daily clinical operations of a 100+ bed home, supporting the General Manager in leading the delivery of person-centred care. You'll lead and mentor the clinical team, manage AN-ACC compliance, and drive clinical governance and quality outcomes across the home.
Main duties include:
  • Overseeing daily clinical operations of the care home
  • Supporting and leading the clinical team, including coaching, mentoring, staff allocation, performance management and education
  • Reviewing clinical incidents, complaints, and changes
  • Leading compliance with AN-ACC assessments
  • Managing person-centred care planning and evaluation, including case conferencing with families and carers
  • Preparing and conducting clinical governance audits
  • Overseeing medication management in line with resident needs and legislative requirements
  • Liaising with allied health, medical practitioners, and other services to support optimal resident care
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration (essential)
  • Post-graduate qualification in aged care highly regarded
  • Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds
  • Proven track record delivering quality clinical care in aged care or acute settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
  • Solid understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
