As Care Manager, you'll oversee the daily clinical operations of a 100+ bed home, supporting the General Manager in leading the delivery of person-centred care. You'll lead and mentor the clinical team, manage AN-ACC compliance, and drive clinical governance and quality outcomes across the home.
Main duties include:
- Overseeing daily clinical operations of the care home
- Supporting and leading the clinical team, including coaching, mentoring, staff allocation, performance management and education
- Reviewing clinical incidents, complaints, and changes
- Leading compliance with AN-ACC assessments
- Managing person-centred care planning and evaluation, including case conferencing with families and carers
- Preparing and conducting clinical governance audits
- Overseeing medication management in line with resident needs and legislative requirements
- Liaising with allied health, medical practitioners, and other services to support optimal resident care
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration (essential)
- Post-graduate qualification in aged care highly regarded
- Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds
- Proven track record delivering quality clinical care in aged care or acute settings
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
- Solid understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
