Join a well-established aged care provider as a Chef Manager within a residential aged care facility located in the Canberra region.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a rewarding leadership role where you’ll combine hands-on cooking with kitchen operations management in a supportive and stable environment.

Working closely with the Home Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, supervising kitchen staff, and creating a positive team culture within the facility.

Role Overview:

• Permanent Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 9am – 5pm
• Residential aged care facility based in the Canberra area
• Lead, support and supervise the kitchen team on-site
• Hands-on food preparation and daily cooking responsibilities
• Manage food ordering, stock control and kitchen supplies
• Maintain staff rosters and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
• Ensure food safety and compliance standards are maintained
• Mix of leadership responsibilities and hands-on cooking

About You:

• Food Safety Certificate
• Previous aged care experience preferred
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
