This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef Manager, Head Chef, or hospitality leader to join a supportive and resident-focused organisation where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dining services while leading a dedicated kitchen team.
Working closely with the General Manager and broader care team, you'll help ensure residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining strong food safety standards and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Role Overview:
- Permanent full-time Chef Supervisor opportunity
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Report directly to the General Manager
- Lead day-to-day kitchen operations within a residential aged care setting
- Hands-on food preparation and cooking
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- Manage stock control and supplier ordering
- Prepare and maintain staff rosters
- Supervise, mentor, and support kitchen staff
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
- Contribute to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for residents

- Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or hospitality environments
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Sound knowledge of food safety and compliance requirements
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
