Clinical Nurse Consultant – Infection Prevention & Control

Locations: North Sydney or West Sydney
Hours: Fulltime - 0.6fte
Start Date: ASAP

This is a senior clinical role where you’ll oversee infection control at your primary site while providing guidance across additional facilities. You’ll influence practice, support teams, and ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance are upheld - Open to experienced RNs ready to step into a CNC role.

The Role

• Lead infection prevention & control initiatives across your site, while providing oversight and expert guidance across 2 other sites
• Develop, implement and review clinical policies and procedures
• Deliver staff education, training and immunisation programs
• Manage surveillance, audits and outbreak response
• Partner with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams
• Drive a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement

About You

• AHPRA Registered Nurse with 5+ years’ experience
• Postgraduate qualification in infection control or significant hands-on experience
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Passion for delivering meaningful impact
