The Opportunity
As Facility Manager, you'll lead the overall operations and service delivery at a close-knit residential aged care home, driving continuous improvement in resident care and service outcomes. You'll support and coach a committed team to deliver quality, person-centred care, and manage the home's finances, staffing, compliance, and clinical governance — backed by an onsite Clinical Manager/Educator and a central Clinical Governance, Quality and Education team.

Main duties include:
  • Leading overall operations and service delivery
  • Driving continuous improvement in resident care and service outcomes
  • Supporting and coaching a committed team to deliver quality, person-centred care
  • Managing finances, staffing, compliance, and clinical governance with central team support
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the local community
What We're Looking For
  • Registered Nursing qualifications with AHPRA registration (preferred), with extensive relevant aged care industry experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aged care regulatory requirements and active participation in the Accreditation system
  • Proven experience with aged care funding streams, including AN-ACC and associated documentation
  • Strong budget management and cost control experience
  • Sound understanding of employment legislation and staff performance/development
  • Demonstrated commitment to EEO, Infection Control, Continuous Improvement and WH&S principles
  • High-level report writing, presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving and conflict-management skills
