Currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Lifestyle coordinator to lead the lifestyle program in a leading NFP provider in East Melbourne.
For this role, you will have a passion for working with the elderly and enriching their lives with stimulating and engaging activities to maximise their well being.
As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be developing and implementing innovative programs with a creative flare to ensure that the residents are enjoying themselves.
About the organisation:
- Salary ranging from $35-38 per hour + super + salary packaging (based on experience)
- Medium - large facility
- Values based NFP organisation
- Lifestyle program is running 7 days
- Monday - Friday, 9 to 5 with WFH flexibility!!
- Reporting to the Facility Manager
- Great support a strong team of Lifestyle Assistants + volunteers!
- 3-4 years experience working as a Lifestyle Coordinator
- Experience working in the Aged Care sector with a strong understanding of person centred care and activity programming for aged care residents.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team are essential
- Cert IV in Lifestyle & Leisure
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal
- The ability to enhance or maintain our resident’s independence and lifestyle
