Location: Rural NSW (3 hours from Canberra)
Hours: Fulltime Mon-Fri
Salary: $66-$71ph + Super & $15,900 Salary Packaging
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced nursing leader to join a leading healthcare provider as Nursing Unit Manager – Orthopaedics.

Provide leadership to a busy orthopaedic ward, overseeing day-to-day operations, workforce management, and clinical performance. You will play a key role in maintaining quality and accreditation standards, supporting staff development, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership of the Orthopaedic Ward
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, rostering, and staff development
  • Foster a positive team culture and high staff engagement
  • Manage ward resources, budgets, and performance outcomes
  • Drive quality improvement, accreditation, and patient safety initiatives
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration
  • 5+ years post-graduate nursing experience
  • Surgical/Orthopaedic nursing experience
  • Previous ANUM leadership experience or equivalent
