Quality & Risk Officer – Aged Care (6-Month Contract)

An exciting opportunity is available for a Quality & Risk Officer to join a well-established aged care provider in the Barossa Region. Open to both clinical and non-clinical candidates with relevant experience

What you will be doing
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements
  • Support audit preparation and accreditation activities
  • Track and manage corrective actions (CA) and continuous improvement (CI) registers
  • Coordinate audit logistics, documentation, and scheduling
  • Maintain and manage documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Compile and analyse data for quality and risk reporting
  • Support staff with guidance on quality systems and compliance processes
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure policies and documentation meet QMS and regulatory standards
  • Support internal and external audit processes and assurance activities
About You
  • Experience in aged care (residential, community, or retirement living) High Desirable
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance frameworks
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory requirements
  • Clinical background (RN or EN) highly regarded but not essential
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 31000 (Risk Management) desirable
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and systems skills
  • Strong documentation, organisational, and data analysis capability
