We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for contract opportunities in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident critical care nurse looking to secure a well-paid regional contract while working within an established hospital and multidisciplinary clinical team.

Flexible start dates and contract lengths may be considered, making this position suitable for nurses looking for either an immediate placement or their next planned contract.

The role As an ICU Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients
• Completing comprehensive clinical assessments
• Managing ventilated and haemodynamically unstable patients
• Monitoring and interpreting complex clinical observations
• Administering medications, infusions and critical care treatments
• Responding to clinical deterioration and emergency situations
• Working closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

Essential requirements To be considered, you must have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• At least three years of postgraduate nursing experience
• Recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Experience caring for ventilated patients
• Current Advanced Life Support certification
• Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Current National Police Check
• Evidence of current vaccinations and mandatory competencies
• Australian working rights

A postgraduate qualification in intensive care or critical care nursing will be highly regarded.
