Registered Nurse – Urgent Care/Acute

Location: 90 minutes from Melbourne
Hours: Permanent Full-Time
Salary: Up to $54.41 per hour + Super & $15,900 Salary Packaging
Roster: 24/7 Rotating Roster

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a well-supported Urgent Care team at a leading regional health service in Victoria.

This role is ideal for an RN with Urgent Care or Emergency experience who enjoys autonomy, clinical variety and working in a close-knit team. You'll play a key role in the assessment, management and stabilisation of patients in a nurse-led Urgent Care Centre.

The Role

• Work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including day, afternoon and night shifts.
• Primarily work in the 5-bed Urgent Care Centre, with the opportunity to support the 15-bed Acute Ward as required.
• Assess, triage and manage a broad range of urgent care presentations.
• Provide emergency stabilisation and ongoing patient care.
• Join a supportive team led by a NUM and ANUM.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 2+ years' experience in Urgent Care or Emergency.
• ALS/Triage

Desirable

• Post graduate certificate
• Leadership experience
