The role:
- Deliver and promote a well-rounded Primary Health Care (PHC) service using a multidisciplinary approach, following approved protocols (e.g., CARPA manuals) and policies.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and health information systems to guarantee seamless patient care.
- Provide culturally sensitive health education, encouraging community participation in local decision-making.
- Empower and assist Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHPs) in being the primary providers of healthcare in their communities to ensure culturally appropriate services.
- Remote Emergency Course (REC) Certificate (CRANA) or equivalent
- Midwifery Emergency Certificate (MEC) (CRANA) or equivalent
- Immunisation Provider Certificate (Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program)
- Valid Manual Driver’s Licence
- iStat Competency
- Stryker Stretcher experience
- Up-to-date personal vaccination status (Signed DoH form with supporting serology evidence)
