About the Role As a Remote Area Nurse, you’ll be the frontline provider delivering culturally safe, patient-centred care. You'll manage a wide scope of nursing responsibilities including:

• Acute and primary health care
• Chronic disease management
• Emergency response
• Health promotion and community engagement
• Working in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners and visiting clinicians
• Immunisations
• Child & Family Health

About You To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in remote or rural nursing, including emergency, primary care or child health
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to build trust in Indigenous communities

Desirable:

• Remote Emergency Care (REC) or MEC
• Pharmacotherapeutics/4WD experience is a plus!
