As a Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you’ll play a key role in helping children develop critical communication skills. You’ll assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language challenges, empowering children to reach their full potential.
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication challenges in children of all ages.
- Develop and implement personalised therapy plans to support each child’s unique needs.
- Work closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to care.
- Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals at home.
- Monitor progress and deliver detailed reports to families and key stakeholders.
- Offer therapy services in diverse environments, including clinics, schools, early learning centres, and home visits.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and approaches in speech pathology to deliver best-practice care.
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Full Australian Drivers Licence
- 2 years + experience as a Speech Pathologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and colleagues.
- A passion for paediatrics and a commitment to delivering person-centered care.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit different environments and learning styles
