Unit Manager
A leading not-for-profit aged care organisation is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership within their large aged care facility in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you'll collaborate with management, clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff, and community agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-focused care and continuous service improvement.

• Reporting to the Clinical Manager
• Large demetia specific unit on site with 2 other wings with a mix of high and low care residents
• Currently have a 4 star rating and compliant across care minutes
• Structure within the home: Clinical Manager, Unit Managers x 3 , Quality, AN-ACC, Lifestyle Coordinator and 11 Lifestyle assistants, EN's, RN's and PCW/PCW Med Endorsed
• Executive Structure: Board, CEO, Executive team across quality, residential, community and corporate services
• They also run a pet therapy programme for the residents and there is a big push to bring in innovative lifestyle programs for their MSU residents
• This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing clinical expertise, staff mentoring, and operational oversight to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care and support.
• Direct reports: RN and PCW's within the units you oversee

• Attractive salary of $62.32 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging (Depending on Experience)

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
• Proven experience in a senior clinical or leadership role within residential aged care.
• Experience or qualification in dementia care and/or Memory Support environments.
• Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and AN-ACC processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
