About the Role As a Midwife in a remote setting, you’ll be delivering person-centred maternity care, often as part of a small, multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include:

• Providing antenatal care and health education
• Managing labour and delivery in clinic or hospital settings
• Offering postnatal support and parenting advice
• Collaborating with GPs, obstetricians, and allied health staff
• Participating in community-based health promotion
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and care plans

Candidate Requirements To be eligible, you must have:

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years' Midwifery experience
• Birth Suite competency and recent hands-on delivery experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and ability to work independently
• Current police check and WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
• Remote or rural experience preferred but not essential
