Are you a confident and experienced Care Manager ready to step into a key leadership role on night shift?
We’re recruiting for a Night Duty Care Manager to oversee a large, state-of-the-art aged care facility in Melbourne’s north.
Position Overview:
- Highly competitive rate $69 an hour + super + penalties
- Permanent part time night role, working 4 set shifts per week: Wednesday to Saturday(10:00pm – 7:30am)
- Shared responsibility for 7 night shifts per fortnight with one other Care Manager
- Overseeing a large state of the art facility
- RNs are present on each floor during night shifts—this role ensures overall coordination and accountability
- You must have a minimum 4 years management experience to apply for this position
- Fully accredited until April 2027
- Provide strong after-hours leadership across the home
- Ensure night staff remain engaged and are completing their duties
- Support RNs and care staff in clinical decision-making and escalation processes
- Monitor care delivery standards and resident well being
- Act as the most senior clinical presence overnight and liaise with management as needed
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (mandatory)
- Experience managing large teams or working as a Clinical Manager or FM in aged care
- Confidence in overseeing care across multiple areas simultaneously
- A hands-on, proactive approach to leadership, particularly during lower-resourced hours
