We are seeking a Permanent Remote Area Nurse (RAN) to join our tight-knit team providing essential primary and emergency care to communities that need it most.This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for a nurse seeking both professional autonomy and the chance to make a real difference.
About the Role As a Remote Area Nurse, you’ll be the frontline provider delivering culturally safe, patient-centred care. You'll manage a wide scope of nursing responsibilities including:
- Acute and primary health care
- Chronic disease management
- Emergency response
- Health promotion and community engagement
- Working in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners and visiting clinicians
- Competitive salary up to $129,343K + Super + Salary packaging benefits!
- Additional $22ph for remote allowance and on-call - $22 is paid for every hour worked (even if there are no call-outs) (an extra $42K on top of your salary!)

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in remote or rural nursing, including emergency and primary care
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to build trust in Indigenous communities
- Triage experience
- Current Police Check and Working With Children Check
- Remote Emergency Care (REC) or MEC
- Pharmacotherapeutics/4WD experience is a plus!
- Immunisation certificate
