Quality & Education- Aged Care

Seeking a Quality and Education Manager to join a large Aged Care Facility in the Ballarat area.

As the Quality and Education Manager you will play a crucial role in identifying improvement opportunities, providing hands-on support to address gaps, and coaching the leadership team to ensure sustainability in quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Registered Nurses, Care Managers and the General Manager to uphold quality standards.
• Oversee all Quality and Education in the home.
• Report directly to the GM, maintaining a direct line of communication for seamless coordination.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential with current AHPRA is essential
• Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
• Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care, coaching, delivering training
• Possesses excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities
• Ability to foster a team environment and build collaborative relationships
• Highly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skills
• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
