Hours: Permanent Fulltime 38hrs
Roster: Monday-Friday (08:00-16:00/17:00)
Salary: Up to $119,000+ Super & $15,900 Salary Packaging
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager, Clinic Manager, Nurse Manager, or Aboriginal Health leader looking to step into a highly influential leadership position within one of Victoria's most respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.
Reporting directly to the Program Manager, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of approximately 20-25 staff, including 9 GPs and 5 nurses, while balancing both clinical and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing clinic operations and patient flow
- Overseeing Chronic Disease Management programs and education
- Supporting and mentoring GPs, nurses, and support staff
- Maintain high standards of culturally safe and patient-centred care
- Coordinating rosters and staffing requirements
- Handling patient feedback and complaints
- Providing clinical support when required
- Working closely with the Program Manager and leadership team
- Ensuring culturally safe, high-quality service delivery
- Significant leadership experience
- Experience working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) or Aboriginal health setting
- Strong understanding of culturally safe healthcare practices and Aboriginal health outcomes
- Previous experience within a medical clinic, primary care, or community health environment
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background
- Qualification in Leadership, Management, or Practice Management
- Up to $15,900 Salary Packaging annually
- 4-5 weeks temporary accommodation available onsite
