Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Regional Relocation
Seeking a senior Registered Nurse who supports the Nurse Unit Manager in both clinical and leadership duties within a rural or remote healthcare setting. The ANUM helps coordinate patient care across integrated services such as acute care, aged care, emergency, and community health.
  • $54 -59 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging
  • Accomodation provided for up to 6 months
  • Report to the NUM
  • Full time permanent - 38 hours per week
  • Experience working in Multi Purpose Services essential
  • Will consider a Registered Nurse stepping up with urgent care and residential experience
  • Rotating roster including night shift
  • Sponsorship can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Key Responsibilitie:
  • Supervises, mentors, and educates junior staff and students, acting as a role model and preceptor for student nurses.
  • Implements clinical care programs as required
  • Coordinates and maintains appropriate staffing levels
  • Ensures the performance and competencies are maintained in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Coordinates and oversees staff orientation at the service level.
  • Provides leadership and direction to Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses.
  • Demonstrates advanced clinical assessment, care planning, and care delivery skills.
Essential Requirments:
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Experience in staff management and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards.
  • Clinical competence in acute, emergency, aged and palliative care.
  • Sound knowledge of the requirements of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Aptitude for clinical teaching.
  • Post Graduate Qualifications Desirable
