Are you an experienced Registered Nurse and clinical leader looking for a role where you can genuinely influence clinical standards, support your team and make a difference to resident care?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established large residential aged care service, working closely with an experienced Facility Manager and a supportive clinical team.
As Care Manager you will be the senior clinical leader within the service, providing strong clinical oversight while leading, supporting and developing the nursing team.
You will work closely with the Facility Manager to strengthen clinical practice, maintain high standards of care and support the service through its upcoming projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced clinical leader who is confident making decisions, holding teams accountable and building a positive culture.
About you
We are looking for a strong clinical leader who can balance clinical expertise with confident people leadership.
You will ideally have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in a senior clinical, Care Manager or Clinical Care Manager position in residential aged care
- Experience leading, coaching and developing Registered Nurses and care teams
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with the Facility Manager
What you'll be doing
- Provide visible clinical leadership across the site
- Monitor incidents, audits, quality indicators and clinical trends
- Work closely with the Facility Manager on operational and clinical priorities
- Support the service through its upcoming projects
