Care Manager – 6 Month Contract | | $65–$68 per hour
We are currently partnering with a well-established, not-for-profit aged care provider to recruit an experienced Care Manager for a 6-month contract, covering a period of leave within the leadership team based in East Melbourne.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a stable, well-run home with strong clinical support already in place, while contributing to final preparations ahead of upcoming accreditation.

The Opportunity

• 6-month contract with an immediate start preferred
• Hourly rate: $65–$68 + salary packaging (available on contract)
• Reporting to an experienced Director of Care
• Working alongside an additional Care Manager for shared leadership support

The Home

• Medium-sized service with ~100+ residents, including a dedicated memory support unit
• Strong clinical structure with a Quality & Risk Manager on-site
• High-acuity resident profile (AN-ACC aligned)
• Established NFP provider with a long-standing reputation in aged care
• Supportive and clinically focused leadership team
• Upcoming reaccreditation scheduled for September 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight across the home
• Support and direct nursing and care teams to ensure high standards of care
• Assist with final quality and compliance preparations ahead of accreditation
• Work collaboratively with the Director of Care and broader leadership team
• Drive best practice clinical outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Proven experience as a Care Manager within residential aged care is essential
• AHPRA Regisered
• Confident, proactive, and able to lead and direct teams effectively
• Strong understanding of aged care standards and accreditation processes
• Comfortable working within structured systems (experience with Leapfrog/Manned advantageous)
• Available to commence at short notice
