About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Child Health Nurse for a 6-week contract in remote Western Australia, commencing 11 May. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver meaningful child and family health outcomes within culturally diverse communities, including Aboriginal communities across regional WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct child and family health assessments and developmental checks
- Provide health education and early intervention support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across community and outreach programs
- Deliver culturally safe care in remote and community-based settings
- Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse)
- Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health (essential)
- Demonstrated experience in cross-cultural and Aboriginal health
- Previous remote, regional, or community health experience highly regarded
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in remote environments
- $85 per hour — competitive contract rate
- Travel and accommodation fully provided
