Clinical Care Manager - Aged Care
Are you a dedicated Care Manager looking for a new career move to kick start 2025?

Redstone are looking to speak with Care Manager's to join a medium sized NFP provider in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

You will succeed in this role with the invaluable support of a seasoned Facility Manager and the unwavering backing of our exceptional head office team

Duties of the Role:
  • Ensure adherence to Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) policies and guidelines regarding nursing scope of practice.
  • Supervise staff to deliver high-quality, individualized care to residents.
  • Serve as a role model, collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing resident-focused care, and promptly addressing any concerns with the Facility Manager.
  • Assist staff with assessments, treatment, documentation, and activities as needed.
  • Maintain smooth clinical operations to meet resident care requirements and uphold standards.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to households, ensuring care delivery aligns with standards and roles.
  • Cover for the General Manager during their absence.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of Clinical Care Management experience within Aged Care 
  • Five years’ experience in providing high-quality aged care in a senior clinical role.
  • Proven management skills, demonstrated team leadership, and a strong working knowledge of continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Personal Care and Resident Lifestyle requirements in the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Excellent clinical skills and significant aged care experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a passion for making a difference.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Computer literacy and a multidisciplinary approach to clinical practice.
