Clinical Care Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior clinician to lead excellence in clinical care across a large, modern aged care facility in North East Tasmania.

This newly created position recognises the growth of the service and aims to strengthen clinical governance, support staff development, and drive continuous improvement in care delivery. With a strong balance of clinical leadership and operational oversight, this role is ideal for a senior clinician who thrives in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

This role reports to the Regional Manager and works alongside another Clinical Manager. Along with the supportive structure in place within the senior leadership team the organisation also has RN's, EN's, PCA's and a wonderful Lifestyle and Leisure team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and model evidence-based, person-centred clinical practice.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to clinical and care teams to enhance skill development and care planning.
  • Oversee complex case management, including clinical assessment, escalation, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Conduct regular clinical audits, medication reviews, and incident analyses to maintain compliance with strengthened Aged Care Standards.
  • Identify and manage clinical risk in line with organisational governance frameworks.
  • Support training in clinical systems and digital documentation tools
  • Contribute to rostering, AN-ACC, and care minute activities in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Support day-to-day operations and provide insight into service delivery.
  • Partner with operations leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate admission readiness and transition processes for residents.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and escalate complex issues as needed.
Essential:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Proven leadership experience in aged care clinical management.
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care and NDIS Quality Standards.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with clinical governance systems and digital health documentation.
  • A collaborative approach to balancing clinical and operational priorities.
