Clinical Care Manager - Residential Aged Care - Western Downs

Main Duties:
  • Provide clinical leadership across the residential aged care service.
  • Lead, mentor and support nursing and care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Oversee clinical assessments, care planning, documentation and reporting.
  • Promote best practice clinical governance, medication management and resident outcomes.
  • Drive compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with the Residential Manager to foster a positive team culture and deliver exceptional care outcomes.
Essentials:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous clinical leadership experience within residential aged care.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and clinical governance.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of care minutes, clinical documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Gerontology Nursing and/or Dementia Care qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and proactive leadership style.
