A well-established aged care provider operating multiple homes in the Wollongong region is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and reliable Cold Larder Cook / Chef to join their friendly catering team. If you're passionate about preparing fresh, nutritious meals and making a genuine difference in the lives of older people, this could be the role for you.

The Opportunity / Main Duties

• Prepare salads, sandwiches, desserts and other cold meal components
• Assist with meal plating and presentation
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and infection control standards
• Complete food safety documentation and temperature monitoring
• Monitor stock levels and flag ordering requirements
• Work collaboratively with the wider catering team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
• Maintain a clean, organised work environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Cook, Chef or Cold Larder Cook
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
• Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
• Aged care or healthcare catering experience highly regarded
• Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for providing quality meals to older people
