General Manager - Residential Aged Care
Highly regarded not-for-profit, values-based organisation are seeking a strategic leader to oversee their residential aged care services.

The Role:
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across residential aged care services, with direct accountability for clinical excellence, compliance, and consumer outcomes.
  • Lead and support Clinical team to deliver high-quality, person-centred, and safe care aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams within facilities, including Quality, AN-ACC coordination, Lifestyle, Registered Nurses , Enrolled Nurses, and Personal Care Workers.
  • Operate within an executive team structure that includes the Board, CEO, and five Managers across other services within the organistion.
  • Actively contribute to shaping the organisation’s culture, strategic direction, and long-term success
  • Drive innovation, compliance, and service excellence during a period of national aged care reform, ensuring organisational sustainability and readiness for future accreditation.
  • Play a pivotal role in strategic growth initiatives and the expansion of residential aged care services.
Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Leadership and management qualifications are desirable
  • Knowledge of incoming reforms and aged care standards
  • Successful managment of a multisite portfolio in the residential aged care sector
  • Proven experience with comissioning projects and acquistions
  • Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • In depth knowledge of compliance requirements, policies and procedures and prepartion of accreditation
  • Proven ability to drive strategic growth and sustainability
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to provide exceptional resident care outcomes.
  • Proven success in financial mangement, human resounrces and operational planning
  • Strong ability to mentor a diverse team
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence effectively at all levels.
