Seeking an innovative and creative Lifestyle expert who can drive resident focused wellbeing programs which align with best practice and incoming standards.
The Lifestyle Manager is a senior position responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing the delivery and evaluation of all lifestyle services within the organisation. The role will focus creation and implementation of wellbeing strategies along with leading their team and volunteers.

- Report to the Facility Manager and the Executive Team
- Looking for a creative and innovative lifestyle manager who is capable of strategic leadership and team development
- Lead the team through incoming reforms
- Program is running well currently
- The role with involve program/calender development and volunteer management
- Fully compliant across standards
- Structure: Board, FM, CCM, RN grade 5's, PCAS, Kitchen, cleaning, laundry, lifestyle team and HR.
- Plan and implement lifestyle activity programs that cater to residents' physical, social, emotional, creative, and spiritual needs.
- Lead and manage a team of lifestyle staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality programs.
- Develop and regularly review resident care plans, ensuring each individual’s profile is comprehensive and up-to-date.
- Organise internal events and day trips that foster community engagement and enhance residents' well-being.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain quality documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement strategic intitives to enhance organisational wellbeing programs
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Diversional Therapy), Health Science (Leisure and Health), or Health Science (Recreation Therapy), or a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
- Lifestyle Management experience within aged care or community services
- Experience with volunteer coordination
- Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and governance frameworks, along with incoming reforms.
- Proven success in strategic planning, program development, and performance evaluation.
- Proven experience in financial management and budget accountability.
- Experience presenting to Executive Teams and contributing to organisational policy development.
- Knowledge of dementia care, therapeutic interventions, or trauma-informed practice.
