Lifestyle Coordinator — Aged Care — Newcastle Region
A well-established aged care provider just outside Newcastle is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to join their team at a 90+ bed, resident-focused home. The facility is known for its light-filled communal spaces, attractive outlooks, and a genuinely positive culture where staff are recognised and supported to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

The Opportunity
As Lifestyle Coordinator, you'll lead the planning and delivery of engaging lifestyle programs that promote connection, independence, and wellbeing for residents. You'll:

Plan, develop, and implement a diverse lifestyle and activities calendar
Lead group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities
Promote social, cultural, and community engagement opportunities
Supervise and support lifestyle assistants and volunteers
Coordinate events, outings, and special celebrations
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with aged care standards

What We're Looking For

Experience in lifestyle coordination, activities, or aged care (essential)
A Certificate IV in Leisure & Health, Diploma of Leisure and Health, or similar qualification — highly experienced candidates without formal qualifications will also be considered
Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a creative mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for improving the lives of older people
Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance / NDIS Screening Check
