A well-established aged care provider just outside Newcastle is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to join their team at a 90+ bed, resident-focused home. The facility is known for its light-filled communal spaces, attractive outlooks, and a genuinely positive culture where staff are recognised and supported to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

As Lifestyle Coordinator, you'll lead the planning and delivery of engaging lifestyle programs that promote connection, independence, and wellbeing for residents. You'll:
- Plan, develop, and implement a diverse lifestyle and activities calendar
- Lead group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities
- Promote social, cultural, and community engagement opportunities
- Supervise and support lifestyle assistants and volunteers
- Coordinate events, outings, and special celebrations
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with aged care standards
- Experience in lifestyle coordination, activities, or aged care (essential)
- A Certificate IV in Leisure & Health, Diploma of Leisure and Health, or similar qualification — highly experienced candidates without formal qualifications will also be considered
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a creative mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of older people
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance / NDIS Screening Check
