Lifestyle Coordinator — Aged Care — Newcastle Region
A well-established aged care provider just outside Newcastle is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to join their team at a 90+ bed, resident-focused home. The facility is known for its light-filled communal spaces, attractive outlooks, and a genuinely positive culture where staff are recognised and supported to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

The Opportunity
As Lifestyle Coordinator, you'll lead the planning and delivery of engaging lifestyle programs that promote connection, independence, and wellbeing for residents. You'll:
  • Plan, develop, and implement a diverse lifestyle and activities calendar
  • Lead group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities
  • Promote social, cultural, and community engagement opportunities
  • Supervise and support lifestyle assistants and volunteers
  • Coordinate events, outings, and special celebrations
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with aged care standards
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in lifestyle coordination, activities, or aged care (essential)
  • A Certificate IV in Leisure & Health, Diploma of Leisure and Health, or similar qualification — highly experienced candidates without formal qualifications will also be considered
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a creative mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of older people
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance / NDIS Screening Check
