We are working with a well-established private hospital in Melbourne that is seeking an experienced and motivated Anaesthetics Nurse Unit Manager to lead and support their dedicated Anaesthetics Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse to step into a clinical management role within a supportive private hospital environment.
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide clinical and operational leadership across the anaesthetic service, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care and effective team performance.
Your responsibilities will include
- Overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the clinical area
- Coordinating workforce requirements and supporting effective staffing
- Driving quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives
- Monitoring resource utilisation and ensuring effective operational performance
- Working collaboratively with medical, allied health and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentoring and developing staff
- 3+ years' experience in Anaesthetics/Recovery
- Previous leadership experience as an ANUM, CNE or CNS
- Full working rights & AHPRA
- Postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing highly regarded
- $70+ per hour + super
- Monday–Friday | 9 days per fortnight
