Nurse Unit Manager – Acute & Urgent Care

Hours: Fulltime Mon-Fri
Location: Rural NSW
Salary: Up to $68/hr + Super & Salary Packaging
Start date: ASAP

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Nurse Unit Manager to lead a small but busy Acute and Urgent Care service. You’ll oversee both areas and stay clinically involved, stepping into Urgent Care when needed. This is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership but still wants to be on the floor making a difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across Acute and Urgent Care
• Manage staffing, rosters, and workflow
• Support and develop your team
• Step into Urgent Care during busy periods
• Ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain standards

Requirements

• AHPRA registered RN
• Experience in a leadership role (ANUM/NUM or similar)
• Background in critical care or urgent care
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• WWCC & Police check
