Hours: Full-Time Monday-Friday
Salary: $145-$165k + Super & $15,900 Salary Packaging

We're looking for an experienced Theatre NUM to join a respected not-for-profit private hospital as the Perioperative Services Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you'll provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across Theatre, Day Surgery, CSSD and Endoscopy, overseeing a 5-theatre suite and working closely with visiting surgeons, anaesthetists and a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Theatre NUM ready to step up into a senior leadership role within an organisation genuinely connected to and answerable to its community.
The Role:
- Lead Theatre, Day Surgery, CSSD and Endoscopy services.
- Provide visible, accountable leadership across perioperative services.
- Improve theatre utilisation, session efficiency and procedural throughput.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention and staff development.
- Manage budgets, expenditure, forecasting and operational KPIs.
- Ensure efficient patient flow across Day Surgery, Theatre and PACU.
- Support and develop NUMs, ANUMs and emerging leaders.
- Build a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Perioperative NUM experience or similar
- Strong experience in theatre operations, workforce and service management.
- Strong financial and operational management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing or Leadership
- Experience across CSSD, Day Surgery and/or Endoscopy.
