Location: Northern Tasmania
Salary: Up to $63 per hour + super + salary packaging + relocation assistance

The Quality & Education Coordinator will report directly to Director of Care and provide leadership to the senior leadership team. The position will focus on continuous improvement measure to ensure alignment with the strengthened standards. The position will support residents and staff by providing compassionate and person centred care, along with providing education to support this.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Div 1 Registered Nurse
- Leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Looking for at least 5+ years of aged care experience
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Experience developing & delivering education programs in conjunction with the clinical leadership team
- Ability to oversee Continuous Improvement plans, audits, governance & maintaining compliance
- Support leadership team by guiding and mentoring clinical staff.
- Act as a resource for the care team, residents, and families while promoting collaboration.
- Deliver on-site clinical training, assess competencies, and support staff development.
- Design and implement evidence-based education to address learning needs.
- Mentor transitional nurses in applying theory to practice. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with aged care legislation and accreditation standards.
- Lead investigations under the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS), and conduct audits to support high-quality care and operations.
