Permanent Midwifery Group Practice Role

Location: North-Western Victoria

Employment Type: Permanent, Part Time (68 hours per fortnight)

We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Midwife for a permanent position in Western Victoria. This role is to be part of our MGP therefore you will provide woman-centered, collaborative care across the full scope of midwifery practice.

About the Role

We will give you:

• An allocated caseload of all-risk women for continuity of care
• Exposure to higher acuity settings to maintain a broad skillset
• Strong relationships with regional hospitals for consultations and referrals
• A brilliant, supportive team.

As a MGP Midwife, your scope may include:

• Antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
• Low-risk and high-risk birth support
• Neonatal and newborn assessments
• Health promotion and breastfeeding support
• Emergency response and stabilisation in rural settings

About You To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
• Minimum 1 years experience in Midwifery
• NNR Certification
• FSEP (Fetal Surveillance Education Program) Level 3
• Current Police Check and Working With Children Check

Desirable:

• MGP Experience
• Remote Maternity Care (MEC)
• PROMPT or Equivalent
