Registered Midwife - Relocate to Rural NSW

Location: Rural NSW
Hours: Permanent Full-time or Part-time
Salary: $42-57ph + Super & $15,900 Salary Packaging
Roster: Mixed Roster - Days & Nights

*Sponsorship is considered for candidates with strong midwifery experience who are already in Australia*

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Midwife to join the Midwifery Services team at a leading facility in rural NSW.

This is a great opportunity for a midwife looking to join a supportive, values-driven team where you’ll provide high-quality, woman-centred care across Birth Suite and Postnatal services. You’ll also have the opportunity to support junior staff, contribute to education and play an active role in quality improvement.

The Role
  • Provide comprehensive midwifery care across Birth Suite and Postnatal services
  • Support women and their families throughout their maternity journey
  • Provide breastfeeding support and parent education
  • Participate in team leader responsibilities and support junior staff
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care, documentation and patient safety
  • Promote a positive, respectful and patient-centred environment
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
  • Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery or equivalent
  • Ability to work across all areas of Midwifery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
  • Postgraduate qualification in Midwifery or working towards one
  • Leadership experience or experience mentoring junior midwives
