Remote Area Nurses – East Arnhem Land | $84–$90/hr

Remote Area Nursing, Chronic Disease and Acute Care contracts available across East Arnhem Land from now through to the New Year.

• $84–$90 per hour + super, dependent on experience
• Travel and accommodation fully covered
• Multiple contract dates and locations available

The opportunity Redstone is partnering with a well known Health Aboriginal Corporation to recruit experienced nurses for contracts throughout East Arnhem Land.

We have vacancies available from now through to the New Year across:

• Remote Area Nursing
• Chronic Disease Management
• Acute Care
• Primary Health Care
• After-hours and emergency response

You’ll work within an experienced multidisciplinary team delivering culturally appropriate healthcare to Aboriginal communities across one of Australia’s most unique remote regions.

What’s on offer?

• Rates between $84 and $90 per hour + super, based on experience

What we’re looking for To be considered, you’ll ideally have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recent Remote Area Nursing, Aboriginal health, chronic disease or acute nursing experience
• Experience working autonomously in remote or regional settings
• Strong emergency assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Current BLS within 12 months or ALS within three years
• Current National Police Check and relevant Working with Children clearance
• Australian working rights

Highly regarded qualifications and experience include:

• REC or equivalent remote emergency qualification
• MEC or equivalent maternity emergency qualification
• Immunisation certification
• Pharmacotherapeutics
• NT iSTAT or point-of-care testing
• Communicare experience
• After-hours assessment experience
• Knowledge of CARPA protocols
