Facility Manager - Aged Care

We are seeking an experienced Residential Service Manager to lead the operations of a well-regarded, medium-sized aged care facility located in the stunning coastal city of Townsville.

This home is supported by an experienced team of clinicians, and we are looking for a strong leader who can foster teamwork while effectively engaging with both executive management and on-site staff.

The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership and communication skills, along with a genuine commitment to the delivery of high-quality, resident-centred care.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall operations of a medium sized aged care facility
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the executive management team
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a dedicated team of staff
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Manage financial budgets and resources effectively
  • Pay attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrate resilience and determination in addressing challenges
  • Foster a culture of dedication and passion for aged care
Requirements:
  • AHPRA Registration ESSENTIAL
  • Experience as a manager in aged care ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent understanding of policies and procedures
  • Proficient in managing financial budgets
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards in aged care
  • Passionate and dedicated to providing quality aged care
  • Ability to lead, manage, and mentor a team of staff
